TECHNICAL DIRECTOR |
Due to continued growth, IESL is ready to add a Technical Director to its staff. The candidate will likely to be a graduate engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in well construction, completion, production technology and with a good knowledge of geosciences. He or she will have evidence of numeracy and computational skills. A higher education degree and knowledge of foreign languages will be an advantage but not a requirement. The individual will have demonstrated the capability to lead a team of engineers and technicians in the provision to our customers of outstanding quality engineering and testing services that are critical to their asset integrity and performance.
A natural leader with experience in managing small teams of professionals, he/she will be able to show that they can be in charge of the day to day operations, project execution and personnel development ensuring that quality assurance, commercial and technical targets are met and to the highest standard possible. The candidate will also need to demonstrate that they can be instrumental in the implementation of the commercial strategy, product development and overall technical aspect of the company operations.
Confident in dealing with clients and suppliers, he/she will have shown the capability to ensure that the company quality assurance program continues to be the guiding driver to technical excellence and outstanding financial performance. He or she will work closely with the Commercial Director ensuring that business opportunities are identified, targeted and realised on a continuous basis. The Technical Director will have a major contribution on product development and implementation of new technology and processes.
