REGIONAL SALES ENGINEER

Oil & Gas – Subsurface

An International Technology Company based in Scotland and specialising in well construction and well completion design is looking for a Regional Sales Engineer to act as the company agent and contribute to its continuous growth in Latin America.

The engineer, preferably with a Petroleum, Mechanical or Civil engineering degree, will be a self-motivated individual and capable and with a track record of working without direct supervision. A good understanding of project management, the well construction and completion processes such as wellbore stability during drilling, sand face completion design and geomechanical applications is a must. A proven track record in business development and sales is a requirement with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales with good communication (written / spoken) skills in both English and Spanish. The individual should have successful experience in achieving sales targets and analysing markets for potential, be numerate and energetic, and have a desire to learn and grow with our company.

Based in Lima, Perú, the position requires regular travel through the region but in particular to Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina and Venezuela as part of the business development function. Reporting to the sales manager in the UK, the individual will be trained on the specific products and systems to be commercialised.

Remuneration will be structured on a base salary and commission according to the level of experience and qualifications. Engineers with service company experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
