Our "Dry Lab"

We have extended our capability in order to provide our customers with rapid, cost effective, first class results. IESL's Laboratory Services are designed to give a rapid turnaround on input data needed for Geomechanical related studies. The Lab services have been designed such that many of the results can be done, for instance, with cores at the client's premises instead of having the delays and risk associated with transporting the cores to a far away lab.

Rapid Low Impact Strength Test (RLIST™)

IESL can carry out, for instance, mechanical testing using our Rapid Low Impact Strength Test (RLIST™) methodology. Over 5000 feet of core material has been tested successfully for our customers all over the world. Typically turnaround time is greatly reduced and the number of data points greatly increased .

Visual Imaging

LabMicroscope2sml1

New technology such as Visual Imaging and non-destructive impact are used and measurements can be taken either at IESL’s custom built testing premises or at the core storage facility.

Grain Size Characterisation

Based on our base expertise in well construction, completion and geomechanics, we are now able to provide:

grain size characterisation,

flow testing

reservoir characterisation (porosity-permeability) test capabilities
